Want to see what we're working on? Of course you do. We produce videos of all songs we create, so you can see the entire song before deciding to buy it. Note that any songs not in the XBox Marketplace are considered works in progress and can change.

Released: April 5, 2010 || Home on the XBox Marketplace

This was a complex one. Not only is the song itself tough, it's in 3/4 time and a lot more involved than the other songs we've worked on. Based on the public response, though, it was worth the effort.

Released: March 3, 2010 || Minnesota on the XBox Marketplace

Our first completed song, this funky little number actually had to have its tempo doubled (from 70 to 140 BPM) to play at the right speed in the game. The result is a drum track with plenty of off-beat hits and a guitar chart with a nice bit of challenge.

Released: August 2, 2010 || Magician on the XBox Marketplace

We generated some controversy with this one- not because it's a special "raw" remix of the song, but because the guitar outro is played faster than what Rock Band can actually handle. The drum pattern also required some clever tweaking to be playable.

Released: April 12, 2010 || Motorcide on the XBox Marketplace

It's 1:16 and it's hilariously absurd. And tough. It's not often a playtester claims a drum part is physically impossible (it isn't). The guitar and bass both approach the strum limit, and it can be tough to sing the song without cracking up.

Released: July 23, 2010 || Just Hang On on the XBox Marketplace

These guys are impressive. For a short, mellow song, there's a lot of complexity which kept it from geting boring to work on. The biggest issue- what genre to put these guys under. They may be the youngest Clasic Rock band ever.

Released: July 6, 2010 || Simple Man on the XBox Marketplace

This completely kicked our butts on vocals. The vocalist has an operatic style that's tough to pin down. The instruments were easier to pin down, but with such heavy kick drumming and fast strumming they're pretty tough to play too.

Released: July 19, 2010 || Blinded on XBox Marketplace

One of the very first songs we announced, but we had a few hang-ups before we could put this out there. It was worth the wait though; that guitar riff is pretty awesome to play.

Released: June 11, 2010 || Molten Death on the XBox Marketplace

Finally, these guys sing! They even change time signatures, like they know what they're doing. They also put together a much larger song that's dominated by three-note chords and tricky transitions.

This one is a challenge in all sorts of ways. Not only was it tough to author in the first place, thanks to its prog leanings, it's a real challenge just to play. Most of the song is done in triplets time, which makes it far less predictable.

Released: June 21, 2010 || Janie on the XBox Marketplace

Reddit comes through with some cool indie music yet again. Great practice for disco beats, and probably the only song where getting bass to be loud enough was not an issue. And yes, the singer is male. We checked. Awkwardly.

Released: May 1, 2010 || You've Got Someone on the XBox Marketplace

It's light and almost folksy, but this track is rather interesting despite being on the simple side. That and there's the psychedelic guitar solo that comes out of nowhere.

Released: August 30, 2010 || Burn Her Out on the XBox Marketplace

It might not look like it, but the vocals here gave us plenty of hassle. Their singer has quite the expressive style. If you want to know how we felt trying to author them, play the drums. They're just as much of a hassle.

Get a drink. You'll be here a while. This is a slow-burning epic of a track; if you're short on time, jump to the middle and enjoy the two insane guitar solos and tons of polyrhythms and kick blasts on drums.

Here's some straight-up hard rock. It's got a nice, different sort of drum pattern and plenty of heavy chords. Almost the sort of thing you'd expect to hear on a rock radio station.

Another experiment with genre. Half synth, half punk, very 80's and pretty straightforward and fun.

We said we'd do the whole album. This one's heavy on the shredding, heavy on the blast beats, and heavy on the growling. Of course, this is Morgawr. It's not going to be anything but heavy.
